2015 Ram 1500 maintenance schedule

Applies to: Gasoline engines (including the 5.7L HEMI V8) with the 6-speed or 8-speed automatic. The 3.0L EcoDiesel uses the separate diesel supplement and is not covered.

Schedule type: oil-life monitor (oil change indicator)

The truck shows an 'Oil Change Required' message based on how it's driven, which can come as early as 3,500 miles in hard use. Get it done within 500 miles of the message, and never go past 10,000 miles, 12 months, or 350 engine hours on a 1500. Summarized in our own words from the sources listed. Always follow the owner's manual or your dealer for your specific vehicle (VIN, engine, and options).

Checked against the official document for model year 2015; other years in this range are assumed to follow it. Confirm in your owner's manual.
